Mohammed Kunhi is the Chairman of Makkah Hyper Market in the Sultanate of Oman, Saudi Arabia and India. He believes that there is no shortcut to success, hard work is the only key to achieving it; it teaches discipline, dedication and determination. With this clear vision he started the business in the year 1988 to serve the local community in the Sultanate of Oman by supplying fresh vegetables and fruits.
The first store was opened in Tharmad, Sultanate of Oman in the year 1992 which was known as the first cold storage in the Locality. And the first hyper market was opened in the year 2007 in Tharmad Sultanate of Oman. Successfully established 31 outlets across the Sultanate of Oman, Saudi Arabia & India. And a core leadership team drives the business in a better way to cater the needs of the local communities.
